Meet Our World Class Teachers



Kino MacGregor

Kino is an international yoga teacher, writer, blogger and a world traveler. She’s the author of three books, producer of six Ashtanga Yoga DVDs and the co-founder of Miami Life Center and the founder of Miami Yoga Magazine.

With more than 15 years of experience in Ashtanga Yoga, she is one of a select group of people to receive the Certification to teach Ashtanga Yoga by its founder Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India.

Her writing regularly appears in Huffington Post, Mind Body Green, Elephant Journal, MyYogaOnline/Gaiam, Do You Yoga and Yoga Magazine.

 



 

Richard Schultz

Richard offers training in the traditional Hatha style, the dynamic Vinyasa Flow style, as well as in the Iyengar Method of Yoga. He teaches students how to be technically sound in the postures without sacrificing rhythm and flow. Richard has trained with several prominent Iyengar Yoga teachers in India and the United States, and has also studied at and employs techniques from the Vivekananda Yoga Institute (VYASA) in Bangalore, India. He completed his Teacher Training program with Yoga Master Bharath Shetty in Mysore, India. dRichard is a registered member of Yoga Alliance. He holds a certificate in anatomy and physiology from Fulton Montgomery College in upstate New York.



Gillian Wagner

Yoga has been a part of Gillian Wagner’s life for over 25 years and her practice has helped her grow stronger, become fearless and more flexible, both on and off the mat. An Ashtanga certified teacher, producer of two yoga DVD’s and the owner of a yoga studio, Gillian feels she will always be a student of Yoga

In her classes, Gillian loves to combine her warm humour with her creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness, and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. She seeks to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind, and soul with yoga, and her hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished, and balanced.

 



 

Dashama Gordon

Dashama is affectionately referred to as the “Anthony Robbins of Yoga” due to her focus on life transformation through yoga. Dashama is an innovator in the field of mind/body wellness, creator of the global trend Paddle Board (SUP) Yoga and the founder of Pranashama Yoga Institute. She is also the author of 4 books and the producer of 23 yoga DVDs. As the CEO of Perfect 10 Lifestyle, she has partnered with hospitals, NFL football teams, senators, schools, non-profits and celebrities to collaborate and bring transformational yoga, health and lifestyle practices to a broad audience.



Erin Motz

Erin is not a traditional yogi. A red wine and French cheese lover who teaches the vinyasa flow, Erin aims to keep her classes fun and accessible. She is a firm believer that yoga is for everyone, from the kale-loving vegan to the prize-winning deer hunter. She is well known as the Bad Yogi in yoga circles around the world and considers teaching yoga as one of her greatest pleasures. In Erin’s own words, “I practice to feed my teaching, but I teach to feed my life.”

 



 

Rachel Zinman

Rachel has practiced yoga for 30 years and has been a teacher for over 23 years. Rachel facilitates Ishta System Yoga Teacher Trainings, Retreats and Workshops in Australia, India, Bali, Japan, Europe and the United States. Passionate about Yoga and its many forms, she practices Hatha, Bhakti and studies Gyan Yoga incorporating the traditional teachings of the Upanishads, Yantra, Mantra and Mudra into her workshops. Her classes are a fluid mix of creative sequencing, meaningful insights and lighthearted fun. She is an award-winning kirtan musician, published poet and writes for several in print and online magazines.
